Adult and High School Class: Introduction to Figurative Painting

Children are so much fun to paint. We will paint figures of children in a way that suggests their actions without being concerned about facial features. We will look at figure proportions, colors and application with oils and acrylics. Look through your photos for pictures of children – playing on the beach, sitting playing with toys, or any that would be interesting. The instructor will bring photo reference to use in the first class, and help you choose from the photos you bring to use in the remaining classes. This is an opportunity to paint those special photos of our children and grandchildren. Space is limited to 10 students, reserve your spot here. A supply list will be made available at registration, fees cover all classes in series.
