DESCRIPTION:Girl Scout Art Museum Day \nCreative Connections: Color & Light!\nSaturday\, October 20\, 2018 \nRegistration extended through October 17th! \nGirl Scouts can earn art badges by participating in hands-on activities on this fun day. Learn about the visual arts while earning a Badge or Patch: \nDaisy: Art Museum Visit Fun Patch\nBrownie: Legacy –Artist – Painting Badge\nJunior: Legacy – Artist – Drawing Badge\nCadette: Art Museum Visit Fun Patch \nEach two-hour session includes a docent-led tour and a themed art activity program. Inspired by Louis Comfort Tiffany’s stained glass masterpieces\, Girl Scouts will learn about S.T.E.A.M. (Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Art and Mathematics) as related to the stained glass works of art in the Louis Comfort Tiffany: Treasures from the Driehaus Collection exhibition. Through the discovery of color and light\, participants will explore the use of drawing and painting media to create an original work of art. Materials provided. \nSession I: Daisy\, Brownie\, & Junior Girl Scouts • 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. \nSession II: Brownie\, Junior\, & Cadette Girl Scouts • 1:00-3:00 p.m. \nFees: $16 per Girl Scout (includes Badge or Patch) | $16 per Girl Scout Troop Leader/Assistant (adult)\n(Due to program capacity\, adults will be limited to Volunteer Essentials ratios.) \nTo Pre-Register for the Girl Scout Art Museum Day\, contact Laura E.
