SUMMARY:Artsy Tots - Pumpkin Pie Art
DESCRIPTION:Learning is fun at the Huntsville Museum of Art for children ages 2-3 and their parent/guardian. Each Artsy Tots class will introduce toddlers to art and the museum through age-appropriate artful short stories\, gallery play activities\, and an art activity. The program helps with color recognition\, fine motor skills\, hand-eye coordination and more! Recommended for ages 24 months and up. There will be new themes for each class. Toddler classes last 45-minutes and are led by specially trained museum educators. \n  \nArtsy Tots classes are held on one Friday a month from 11:00-11:45 a.m.  Class size is limited to 12 children. One adult chaperone is required for every two children. Dress for mess! Pre-registration is required.  Space is limited! Register online at hsvmuseum.org under Learn – Camps\, Classes & Programs. SUMMARY:Skating in the Park Grand Opening
DESCRIPTION:Join the Huntsville Museum of Art for the grand opening of Skating in the Park. Skaters of all ages can enjoy the opening festivities of the eighth annual season.  \nVisit with ice sisters\, Anna and Elsa\, by Windam Entertainment just in time for the premier of Frozen 2. Ice Works Concessions will be providing free hot chocolate and popcorn from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. and the first 25 skaters will receive free admission to the museum and a chance to win a free family membership. Skate rentals will also be free from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. during the event.  \nFollowing the grand opening\, the rink will remain open until Jan. 12.
