DESCRIPTION:Closing Day\nAnother Point of View: Art by American Women\, Highlights from the Sellars Collection\nSunday\, Oct. 16 | 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.\nEnjoy a last chance to view Another Point of View: Art by American Women\, Highlights from the Sellars Collection. \nWith the acquisition of the Sellars Collection in 2008\, an important group of paintings\, drawings\, and sculptures by American women artists active between 1850 and 1940 was added to the Museum’s holdings. The Sellars Collection celebrates their achievements and provides a counterpoint to the Museum’s many works of art by regionally and nationally significant contemporary artists. This exhibition features a selection of favorites and little-seen works from this important collection.
