DESCRIPTION:Creativity & Imagination: Animals in Art!\nSaturday\, January 21\, 2023\nGirl Scouts can earn art badges by participating in hands-on activities on this fun day. Learn about the visual arts while earning a Badge or Patch: \nDaisy: Art Museum Visit Fun Patch\nBrownie: Legacy – Artist – Painting Badge\nJunior: Legacy – Artist – Drawing Badge\nCadette: Art Museum Visit Fun Patch \nEach two-hour session includes a docent-led tour and an animal-themed mixed-media art activity program. Girl Scouts will learn about the elements of art – color\, line\, shape\, and texture while they are developing their own artistic vision. Media include collage\, watercolor crayon and pencil and other materials for embellishment. We will tour the Museum’s exhibitions\, Donato Giancola: Adventures in Imagination and Buccellati: A Silver Menagerie. Materials provided. A confirmation letter will be sent by email upon receipt of registration. Sessions are filled on a first-come\, first-served basis! \nSession I: Daisy\, Brownie\, & Junior Girl Scouts • 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.\nSession II: Brownie\, Junior\, & Cadette Girl Scouts • 1:00-3:00 p.m.\nFees: $25 per Girl Scout (includes Badge or Patch)\, $25 per Girl Scout Troop Leader/Assistant (adult) \n\nREGISTER HERE\n\n\nDue to program capacity\, adults will be limited to Volunteer Essentials ratios.\nQuestions? This class is perfect for those who want to loosen up their style\, continue to build upon their foundational skills and strengthen landscape painting. Space is limited to 8 students.
