DESCRIPTION:Skating in the Park returns for another season! \nThe Huntsville Museum of Art and Downtown Huntsville\, Inc. are partnering again this year for Rockin’ Around the Rocket City!\n\nThis kicks off with Skating in the Park\, which opens to the public on Nov. 27\, followed by the Tree Lighting/Tinsel Trail on Nov. 29th.\n\n\nSkating in the Park runs from November 27\, 2024 to January 5\, 2025\nWe can’t wait to skate with you! \n  \nRegular hours:\nMonday – Thursday: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.\nFriday: 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.\nSaturday: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.\nSunday: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. \nFind Skating in the Park on social media for the latest event updates and weather-related closings or delays. \n  \nAdmission & Rental Pricing:\n$15 Ages 10 & up\n$10 Ages 9 and under\n$13 Groups of 10 or more\n$5 Scooter rental\n$5 Discount if you bring your own skates\n10% Discount at the Museum Store when you show your skating wristband \n  \nMore information can be found here \n  \n \n  \n

Enjoy $5 admission from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.\, and explore the latest exhibitions or revisit your favorite pieces from our permanent collection.\n Wine: Guests aged 21+ can purchase a glass of wine selected by Church Street Wine Shoppe\, adding the perfect touch to your museum experience.\n Live Music: At 6 p.m. \n  \nSteven Todd Miller: Miller began playing the harp at 15 years old but dreamed of being a harpist since the age of 4. Self taught\, he has shared 45 years of music all across the United States and\, via the internet\, the entire world. He is a retired teacher from Huntsville City Schools (32 years)\, now full-time musician. He performs regularly at Bridgestreet Town Centre\, Dragon’s Forge Cafe in Lowe Mill\, Harrison Brothers Hardware\, Freight House Restaurant in Hartselle\, and numerous other locations\, weddings\, and events. His repertoire ranges from Bach to the Beatles and Debussey to Disney! Steven is married to his lovely wife Stephanie. They have two grown children and are enjoying the empty-nest years!
