Two members were talking one evening after rehearsal about some new music they had individually fallen in love with\, and soon realized their mutual admiration for the works of composer Herman Beeftink. It became clear there was more than enough of his wonderful music to fill a recital\, so they approached some flute friends about this idea and received an enthusiastic response. \nTheir first concert of Mr. Beeftink’s music was performed in March\, 2024. In 2025\, they were selected to perform for the National Flute Association Convention’s Flute Ensemble Festival\, where they were thrilled to be joined by Nashville flutist Rama Kumaran\, who has recorded many of Beeftink’s works. Their performances include instruments ranging from piccolo to bass flute\, with an occasional inclusion of contrabass flute and piano or backing track. Their flute friendship brings them great joy\, which they hope to share with their audiences.
