DESCRIPTION:Acrylics: “Go BIG” or “Go Home!” Large-Scale Paintings\nJanuary 21 & 22 (Friday & Saturday) | 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (one-hour lunch break)\n$145 Members | $160 Non-members\nSkill Level: All\nLucy Thomas\nREGISTER FOR CLASS\n\n\nDon’t be intimidated by large-scale painting\, challenge yourself to paint large: “Go BIG” or Go Home!” In this two-day class\, you will work your way up from small to large size in a loose representational style. Learn about scale\, composition\, color and shadow and how these are important elements in your work regardless of the size of the substrate. Discover how to use still life set ups as well as photos and good old imagination when choosing your subject. Plenty of demonstrations and time to practice new techniques will be provided in this class. Be prepared to work large with the final piece being at least 36” x 36”. Space is limited to 8 students.
