Enjoy $5 admission from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.\, and explore the latest exhibitions or revisit your favorite pieces from our permanent collection. \n\n Wine: Guests aged 21+ can purchase a glass of wine selected by Church Street Wine Shoppe\, adding the perfect touch to your museum experience.\n Live Music: At 6 p.m. in the Great Hall \n\nPrevailing Winds Flute Ensemble: A community flute choir from the Huntsville-Madison-TN-Valley area. They perform using all the members of the flute family – piccolo\, flute\, alto flute\, bass flute\, and contra-bass flute (the only one in Huntsville!). Their community group has been together for over 15 years now\, we’re an inclusive all volunteer organization\, and perform locally for public events as well as for paid private events. Our members range from college students to retirees and include students as well as many professional musicians.

DESCRIPTION:Artsy Tots! Ages 2-3\nRegistration is required. \nThe program introduces toddlers between the ages of 2 and 3 to art and to the Museum through artful short stories\, gallery play activities\, and an art activity. The program helps with color recognition\, fine motor skills\, hand-eye coordination and more! \nArtsy Tots classes are on a Friday once a month from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. and 11:00-11:45 a.m. The program will be held in the Stender Family Interactive Education Galleries. \n$8 members/$10 non-members per registration of one child and parent/$4 additional child. \nFees are non-refundable. Registration is transferable to another session. \nThe class size is limited to 10 children\, and registration is required. Each class will have a unique theme. Dress for a mess! \nQuestions? His repertoire ranges from Bach to the Beatles and Debussey to Disney! Steven is married to his lovely wife Stephanie. They have two grown children and are enjoying the empty-nest years!

In the late 1980’s\, she founded 1210 Meridian Street Performance space in the Lincoln Mill District which morphed into the arts collective\, Flying Monkey Arts\, which became the seed community for Lowe Mill ARTS and Entertainment. She has maintained her studio there on the 2nd floor South for over 20 years. She is also a visual arts instructor at the Huntsville Museum of Art and conducts performances and workshops for teachers and adults throughout the Southeast.

Enjoy $5 admission from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.\, and explore the latest exhibitions or revisit your favorite pieces from our permanent collection. \nGuests aged 21+ can purchase a glass of wine selected by Church Street Wine Shoppe\, adding the perfect touch to your museum experience. \n\nJosh Taylor: Guitarist\, composer\, and singer who cut his teeth in Nashville\, Tennessee before moving back to his hometown of Madison\, Alabama. He is an award-winning fingerstyle guitarist and took home the state champion title during the 2019 Athens Old Time Fiddler’s Convention Fingerstyle Guitar Competition and was the runner-up in 2021. \nJosh is heavily influenced by the work of guitarists such as Tommy Emmanuel\, Jerry Reed\, Chet Atkins\, and Joe Robinson and his time spent studying these artists has yielded a sound that is reminiscent of his heroes while still providing his own modern twist. Josh is a member of the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society and through his time with them has played with and for some of the best guitarists in the world including the aforementioned Tommy Emmanuel. Taylor’s sound covers a wide range of genres and he is able to go from country to jazz to pop to classical and even to rock n’ roll seamlessly (and somehow being able to do it all on one acoustic guitar!). He is also an educator and teaches privately at Colors Fine Arts Center in Huntsville Alabama.
