Guests aged 21+ will be able to purchase a glass of wine from the Church Street Family Hospitality for $7.\n\nListen to live music from: Shane Davis Group from 6-7 p.m.\n\nShane Davis is a singer-songwriter from Huntsville\, AL. He cut his teeth with local rock and roll group Black Market Salesmen. Davis has played many regional venues and festivals\, such as the annual Huntsville festival Panoply\, Porch Fest\, BoroStock in Murfreesboro\, and Spice Fest. He has shared the stage with acts such as Loretta Lynn\, Crystal Gayle\, The Pollies\, and the Seratones. In early 2020 he formed the Shane DAvis Group to work on solo material. In February of 2021\, the band traveled to Marietta\, GA to record new material with Grammy nominated producer Joey Huffman and the Vault REcording Lounger. These sessions yielded the singles Back Bunner\, Ocean Song\, and Going Underground. Shane’s music has been compared to Neil Young\, Ryan Adams\, Townes Van Sandt and The Grateful Dead.\n\nThursday | 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.\n\n\nMembers: Free | Non-Members: $5

Guests aged 21+ will be able to purchase a glass of wine from the Church Street Family Hospitality for $7.\n\nListen to live music from Prevailing Winds / Rocket City Bones from 6-7 p.m.\n\nPrevailing Winds Flute Ensemble: a community flute choir from the Huntsville-Madison-TN-Valley area. They perform using all the members of the flute family — piccolo\, flute\, alto flute\, bass flute\, and contra-bass flute (the only one in Huntsville). Their community group has been together for over 15 years now\, and is an inclusive\, all volunteer organization\, and perform locally for public events as well as for paid private events. Members range from college students to retirees and include students as well as many professional musicians.\n\nRocket City Bones: around since November 2014. Over the years\, there have been players that have come and gone. But\, the most amazing thing is that the number of trombone players that are connected through this ensemble has grown to over 100 from around the Tennessee Valley. This ensemble is comprised of trombone players of all levels of playing ability. Prior to graduating from Vanderbilt University in Nashville\, Rama became the youngest-ever winner of the American National Flute Association’s Young Artist Competition. Rama’s current work includes cross-disciplinary storytelling\, creative research\, and historical performance. He is passionate about his teaching studio\, where he connects the disciplines of STEM and the humanities with the Boulanger lineage of music pedagogy\, which he is proud to represent. DESCRIPTION:$5 After 5 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. \nLive music performed by Josh Taylor\, Guitar from 6:00 – 7:00. \nJosh Taylor\, guitarist\, composer\, and singer cut his teeth in Nashville\, TN before moving back to his hometown of Madison\, AL. He is an awrd-winning fingerstyle guitarist and took home the state champion title during the 2019 Athens Old Time Fiddler’s Convention Fingerstyle Guitar Competition and was the runner-up in 2021 with plans to reclaim his title in 2022. Josh is heavily influenced by the work of guitarist such as Tommy Emmanuel\, Jerry Reed\, Chet Adkins\, and Joe Robinson. His time spent studying these artists has yielded a sound that is reminiscent of his heros while still providing his own modern twist. Josh is a member of the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society. Through his time with them\, he has played with and for some of the best guitartists in the world including the aformentioned Tommy Emmanuel. Taylor’s sound covers a wide range of genres. DESCRIPTION:Join us for $5 After 5 for Mike Roberts from 6:00 – 7:00. \nMike Roberts is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has been prominent in the Alabama\, Tennessee\, and Florida music scene for decades. Influenced by everything he heard\, he began singing and making up jingles at an early age. His Southern raising is prevalent in Mike’s writing. Years later\, Mike has performed his Americana-Southern songs in writer rounds for a sold out show at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville as well as performed at Commodore and Bobby’s Idle Hour on Music Row. In June 2023\, his band 5ive o’clock charlie sold out and extended seating to the patio to break\, and set the attendance record at the Electric Belle Music room in Huntsville celebrating the release of their 4th studio album as a band\, Wise Men and Fools. This material in addition to Mike’s 4 solo albums gives him a grab bag of great depth when it comes to shows. \nEnjoy $5 admission on Thursdays from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Huntsville Museum of Art. DESCRIPTION:Lecture with Vincent Fremont – 6-7 pm \nReception – 7-8 pm \nJoin us for a special evening highlighting WARHOL: film\, fashion\, photography with Vincent Fremont. Fremont will provide rare insight into Andy Warhol’s life and career. \nVincent Fremont began working for Andy Warhol shortly after arriving in New York in the summer of 1969.  For nearly twenty years\, until Warhol’s death in February 1987\, he worked for the Factory in various capacities.  Fremont was the Vice-President of Andy Warhol Enterprises and the Executive Manager of the Andy Warhol studio. In the 1970s and 1980s\, Fremont produced and developed video\, television\, and film projects\, including Vivian’s Girls\, Phoney\, Fight\, Fashion\, Andy Warhol’s TV\, and Andy Warhol’s Fifteen Minutes. \nSince Warhol’s death in February 1987\, Vincent was one of the Founding Directors of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts\, Inc.  He was closely involved in establishing the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh\, guiding the selection of the founding collection. From 1991 to 2012 Vincent Fremont was the Foundation’s exclusive sales agent for Andy Warhol’s paintings\, drawings\, and sculpture and was involved in organizing many exhibitions with galleries and museums of Warhol’s artwork both in the U.S. and Europe. Vincent and his wife Shelly Dunn Fremont co-directed and co-produced an award-wining documentary entitled PIE IN THE SKY: THE BRIGID BERLIN STORY\, which chronicles the life of Warhol Superstar Brigid Berlin. Currently\, Fremont is working on a variety of projects in the art and entertainment fields.
