Huntsville, Ala. – In an effort to accommodate requests from the community, the Huntsville Museum of Art (HMA) is excited to announce that it will open at 10 a.m. every Tuesday through Saturday beginning October 2, 2018.
“We have adjusted our hours of operation to open to the public an hour earlier Tuesday through Saturday with Sunday hours remaining 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.,” explained HMA Executive Director, Christopher Madkour. “This adjustment will accommodate the numerous requests from local schools to tour the galleries before their lunch breaks.”
According to Mr. Madkour, the Museum has received numerous requests from members, visitors and local educators to open earlier. With the upcoming blockbuster exhibition Louis Comfort Tiffany: Treasures from the Driehaus Collection opening on October 21, these new hours will allow visitors to view this exhibit during times that better fit their schedules.
“It is so important for us to make every effort to give area students the opportunity to experience the amazing works by Louis Comfort Tiffany firsthand.”
