We welcome groups to experience Docent-led tours at the Huntsville Museum of Art! Participating in a guided tour can make a lasting impression on any group, whether adult or student, and will aid visitors with understanding the artworks in an exhibit on a more complete level.
Docent-Let Public Tours
Enjoy a deeper look at current exhibits with Docent-led public tours. Docents enhance the experience of visitors by sharing their extensive knowledge about each exhibition. Tours are included with general admission and are free for Members.
Discounted pricing for groups of 10 or more:
Adult: $8
Student: $5
The tour fee is waived for teachers and/or chaperones for every 10 students in the group. $5 per additional adult.

Choose from one of our Thematic Tours (click the green button below) or a Highlights tour to view all exhibits currently on display. We have used the Alabama Course of Study for Arts Education as a framework for creating these tours.

Private Docent-Led Tours
Group Admission:
Adult: $8
Student: $5
To guarantee a docent, a two week advanced notice is required. Anything requested sooner than two weeks cannot be guaranteed a docent.
A docent will lead a group of one person or 15. The Museum can accommodate up to 150 people for a guided tour at one time.
