Anna Sue Courtney is a lifetime puppeteer, member of Puppeteers of America, UNIMA-USA and the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, GA. In the late 1980’s, she founded 1210 Meridian Street Performance space in the Lincoln Mill District which morphed into the arts collective, Flying Monkey Arts, which became the seed community for Lowe Mill ARTS and Entertainment. She has maintained her studio there on the 2nd floor South for over 20 years. She is also a visual arts instructor at the Huntsville Museum of Art and conducts performances and workshops for teachers and adults throughout the Southeast.
