Creativity & Imagination: Animals in Art!

Girl Scouts can earn art badges by participating in hands-on activities on this fun day. Learn about the visual arts while earning a Badge or Patch:
Daisy: Art Museum Visit Fun Patch
Brownie: Legacy – Artist – Painting Badge
Junior: Legacy – Artist – Drawing Badge
Cadette: Art Museum Visit Fun Patch
Each two-hour session includes a docent-led tour and an animal-themed mixed-media art activity program. Girl Scouts will learn about the elements of art – color, line, shape, and texture while they are developing their own artistic vision. Media include collage, watercolor crayon and pencil and other materials for embellishment. We will tour the Museum’s exhibitions, Donato Giancola: Adventures in Imagination and Buccellati: A Silver Menagerie. Materials provided. A confirmation letter will be sent by email upon receipt of registration. Sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis!
Session I: Daisy, Brownie, & Junior Girl Scouts • 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Session II: Brownie, Junior, & Cadette Girl Scouts • 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Fees: $25 per Girl Scout (includes Badge or Patch), $25 per Girl Scout Troop Leader/Assistant (adult)
Due to program capacity, adults will be limited to Volunteer Essentials ratios.
