Huntsville, Ala – The Huntsville Museum of Art’s Museum Academy will offer new art classes for ages 3 through eighth grade. Classes will include ceramics, drawing, painting, multi-media, and jewelry making. Other classes include Mini-Masters; Mudworks; Things that Crawl, Wiggle and Roar; Artsy Animals; Sparkle, Glitter, and Glow; STEAM – The Science of Art; 3-D Art; Spectacular Sketches; Easel Painting; Cartooning; and Saturday Studio Art Adventures and Parent and Child Classes.
In June, the Museum will offer several high school and adult classes. Adults can enjoy classes in ceramics, drawing, acrylic, oil and watercolor painting, Wire Sculpted Jewelry and Accessories, and Stained Glass Patriotic Eagle. In July and August, classes will include acrylic painting, ceramics, Sensational Still Life and Alla Prima Portrait Oil Painting.
Master Artist Workshops will also be offered this summer including Still Life Oil Painting and Online Marketing with Qiang Huang and Painting the Floral Still Life in Oil and Pastel with Sam D’Ambruoso.
