Inclement Weather Policy for Children and Teens Camps/Classes and High School/Adult Classes/Workshops:

During inclement weather, the Huntsville Museum of Art’s Isenberg Art Academy schedule will follow that of the Huntsville City Schools: If the school system closes, the Isenberg Art Academy classes will also be postponed. The classes will then meet at their next regularly scheduled time. When camps/classes or workshops are postponed, there will be a recorded message at 256.535.6372. Check the Museum’s website and Facebook page. In the event that the Isenberg Art Academy camps/classes or workshops are postponed due to inclement weather or other factors beyond our control, we will make every effort to reschedule these classes at the end of the session by adding on an additional week to the schedule.

Youth Classes: More information on our website hsvmuseum.org under Learn – Common Questions. Student check-in /check-out is required at the Isenberg Art Academy entrance by each parent/guardian. We ask that children 4 and older attend class without a parent or guardian present, unless the student is registered for a parent/child class where one adult can accompany the student to class. There is not a waiting area in the Academy studios. While children are attending class, parents are invited to visit the Museum galleries during regular business hours, Children’s Community Gallery, and Pane e Vino Pizzeria.
