Girl Scout Art Museum Day Program
Creativity & Imagination: Mixed Media Masterpieces!
Saturday, April 6, 2024

Huntsville, Ala. – Girl Scouts can earn art badges by participating in hands-on activities on this fun day. Learn about the visual arts while earning a Badge or Patch—Daisy, Brownie and Junior: Art & Design Badges; and Cadette: Art Museum Visit Fun Patch.
Each two-hour session includes a docent-led tour and a still life (flowers/butterflies) drawing and painting (mixed media) art activity program.
Girl Scouts learn about the elements of art – color, line, shape, and texture while they are developing their own artistic vision. Media include pencil, watercolor and other materials for embellishment.
We will tour the Museum exhibition American Made: Paintings and Sculpture from the DeMell Jacobsen Collection. Materials provided.
A confirmation letter will be sent by email upon receipt of registration. Sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis!
