an engagement photo of David holding Bethany as she turns and smiles at him

Happy wedding week to Bethany and David! As part of our countdown to their wedding this weekend, we are sharing their story.

The first spark:

How did you meet?

David and Bethany graduated in the same high school class but did not cross paths while in school. They eventually met through mutual friends after moving back home from college.

The adventure begins:

How did the proposal happen?

David pulled off a surprise proposal. He took Bethany hiking up on Monte Sano, which is one of the couple’s favorite things to do together, and proposed at an overlook.

Plans are made:

Why did you choose the Huntsville Museum of Art for your wedding event?

The Huntsville Museum of Art Gala was one of the couple’s first dates and it has become a special tradition for them. It’s only fitting to have their wedding in the same venue.

A moment to last a lifetime:

What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?

Bethany and David are excited to start their lives together and celebrate with close friends and family.

A collage of four engagement photos of the couple. The left, second-to-the-right, and right photos are on Monte Sano, where David proposed, with a VW bus. The second-to-the-left photo is located downtown.
