Happy wedding week to Hayden and Julia! As part of our countdown to their wedding this weekend, we are sharing their story.
The first spark:
How did you meet?
Julia and Hayden met in town at Rocket City Craft Beer. Julia went out with her dad for the evening and ended up having a great conversation with the bartender. She and the bartender, Hayden, exchanged phone numbers and the rest is history.
The adventure begins:
How did the proposal happen?
Hayden’s plan for the proposal was to recreate their first date, but like many important events, something had to go wrong. The restaurant was closed for an emergency utilities problem, so he had to find another one on the fly. They ended up having dinner at Cotton Row and taking a walk in Big Spring Park. Hayden proposed to Julia in front of the bridge, while some of Julia’s friends hid in the bushes to take photos.

Why did you choose the Huntsville Museum of Art for your wedding event?
The couple chose the Huntsville Museum of Art because it is a beautiful venue, but also because it is close to Big Spring Park. The park was the location of their first date, their engagement, and even Julia’s parents’ engagement. They are excited to continue making special memories in the area.
