Happy wedding week to Mary Allen and Josh! As part of our countdown to their wedding this weekend, we are sharing their story.

The first spark:

How did you meet?

Both Josh and Mary Allen went to the University of Alabama, but they didn’t meet there. Josh moved to Atlanta in 2019 and the couple connected in 2020 through Hinge and the rest is history.

The adventure begins:

How did the proposal happen?

Josh planned a trip to the Breakers in Palm Beach for Mary Allen’s 30th birthday. He was planning to propose on the beach the first day they were there, but it was raining so Mary Allen had refused to go outside. The couple went to dinner at the Flagler Steakhouse and Josh instead proposed in the restaurant as their food was coming out.

Plans are made:

Why did you choose the Huntsville Museum of Art for your wedding event?

Mary Allen grew up in downtown Huntsville and has always loved art, so the Museum was the perfect fit. She loves that they will be able to get married in the Museum and have their reception outside in Big Spring Park.

A moment to last a lifetime:

What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?

Mary Allen is excited to marry Josh. She also can’t wait to see their vision brought to life and to celebrate with friends and loved ones.
