The Museum Store stocks products from a wide range of local businesses. One such business is 1818 Farms, a handmade bath and beauty company just down the road in Mooresville, AL.

1818 Farms is named after the year Mooresville was incorporated. Mooresville is effectively older than the state of Alabama. The town is on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of Alabama’s most important and intact villages.

The farm is on three acres of land in Mooresville and is home to a number of animals and flowers. 1818 Farms hosts events such as workshops, group tours, photoshoots and farm-to-table dinners. Their newest initiative, “Seed to Vase,” shares their expert gardening knowledge by teaching how to identify, grow, harvest and arrange seasonal flowers.

People all across the country know 1818 Farms for their bath and beauty products. These products are handmade from original small batch recipes. 1818 Farms offers a wide range of products, from creams and soaps to coffee and pottery. They use herbs and other ingredients from their farm and each product features a label depicting their loveable farm animals.

The Museum Store sells a variety of 1818 Farms’ beauty products as well as their pet accessories. Stock up on skincare necessities to stay fresh and hydrated in the cold, dry air of fall and winter.
