Huntsville Museum of Art!

The Huntsville Museum of Art will be temporarily closed starting March 2, 2025, to install a state-of-the-art HVAC system.
The museum will reopen in June, 2025.
Pane E Vino will remain open

The Huntsville Museum of Art (HMA) is excited to announce the Keep It Cool Challenge, a community-driven fundraising initiative led by PNC Bank and co-sponsored by The Daniel Foundation of Alabama, Pei Ling Charitable Trust/David Chan. Running from March through June, this campaign aims to raise $50,000 to help us cover operating expenses incurred during the time when we are closed to install a state-of-the-art HVAC upgrade. This installation will ensure that HMA continues to be a premier cultural destination for all.

“The Keep It Cool Challenge is a vital effort to uphold our commitment to bringing exceptional art experiences to Huntsville,” said Christopher J. Madkour, Executive Director of HMA. “We appreciate PNC Bank’s leadership in this campaign and the generous support of our co-sponsors. We are also grateful to the City of Huntsville for their financial support with the HVAC upgrade. We look forward to engaging our community in reaching this fundraising goal.”

Join the Challenge

Community members can contribute to the Keep It Cool Challenge by making a donation at hsvmuseum.org or following HMA on social media for campaign updates. Every dollar raised brings HMA closer to its $50,000 goal, ensuring the museum reopens better than ever.

As a special thank-you, donors who contribute $50 or more will receive an invitation to the Champagne Celebration at the grand reopening of the Huntsville Museum of Art.

Here at HMA, we constantly strive to bring exquisite programs, exhibitions and events to the Tennessee Valley region. By supporting the arts and our Museum, you are supporting the strength and vitality of our community. The Museum plays an integral role in this city’s continued enrichment and development by attracting tourists from all over Alabama and the Southeast every day, but we need your help to make this possible.
