Biography
James Farmer is a renowned interior designer, author and speaker admired for his classic approach to both design and living. Through his interior design firm, James Farmer Designs, James works with clients throughout the country to create homes that are both beautiful and welcoming.
The author of eleven best-selling books — ranging in topic from gardening to interiors — James’s book titles include A Time to Plant; Porch Living; Wreaths for all Seasons; Dinner on the Grounds; A Place to Call Home; Arriving Home; Celebrating Home and, most recently, Home Again.
Beyond his books and design projects, James’s personal homes, located in both Georgia and the North Carolina mountains, have become reflections of his signature style and approach to gracious living. James owns a shop in Perry, Georgia, called A Place to Call Home where his books and design selections are sold.
