Youth Art Month opening cancelled ahead of COVID-19 concerns

The Huntsville Museum of Art is committed to the health and safety of its visitors. We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation as it evolves. At this time, the HMA remains open to all. However, in an effort to follow CDC guidelines regarding limiting attendance at larger gatherings, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our YAM 2020: Exhibition for Youth Art Month opening free event on Sunday, March 15. We want to thank all of the schools, students, and teachers who participated in the YAM program.

HMA will be open to the public during its regular hours on Sunday, 12-5 p.m. General admission applies.

The Youth Art Month exhibit will be on display through April 26. We encourage visitors to come and experience the beautiful artwork of some of the area’s most talented student artists.

Please continue to check our website, Facebook, and Twitter for additional programming updates.
