Huntsville, Ala – The Huntsville Museum of Art’s (HMA) Museum Academy will offer art classes for ages 3 through 8th grade, which will begin the week of September 26. These classes will include ceramics, drawing, painting, and multi-media.
Specific classes include: Budding Artists, Painting Pals, Clayworks, Easel Painting, 2D-3D: Building, Constructing and Inventing, and Cartooning; Saturday Parent and Child Classes: (Ages 3-5): Animals in Art and What’s Up with Animation; and Art for Homeschool
Students (ages 5-13): Mixed Media – Art Through the Ages classes.
The Museum will offer several high school and adult classes, as well. Adults can enjoy classes in ceramics, drawing, acrylic, and oil paintings. Specific classes include: Gesture Drawing, Exploring the Portrait in Oil, and Stained Glass Ornaments.
Master Artist Workshops will also be offered this fall, and include: Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain (October 3rd through 7th) and Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain Part II (October 8th through 9th), and Watercolor Portraits: Painting the Figure from Photographs with Ted Nuttall (November 7th through 11th).
