Girl Scout Art Museum Day
Creativity & Imagination: Storytelling through Art!
Saturday, November 16, 2024
Girl Scouts can earn art badges by participating in hands-on activities on this fun day. Learn about the visual arts while earning a Badge or Patch—
Daisy: Art & Design Badge
Brownie: Art & Design Badge
Junior: Art and Design Badge
Cadette: Art Museum Visit Fun Patch.
Each two-hour session includes a docent-led tour and a mixed media work of art using drawing and painting techniques inspired by the glass artwork in the Clearly Indigenous: Native Visions Reimagined in Glass exhibition.
Girl Scouts learn about the elements of art – color, line, shape, and texture while they are developing their own artistic vision. Media include pencil, watercolor and other materials for embellishment. Materials provided.
