Explore the techniques to capture the light, color, texture and feeling of the outdoors. Enjoy learning new methods and the effects of painting with a palette knife and brush. Learn how to create the exciting vibration of color and texture. Students will follow a sequential application of paint, explore color combinations, mixing techniques and work in an Impressionistic style. Use still life set-ups and photo references for interpreting the landscape. Space is limited to 8 students.
