Geri is an Atlanta-based artist whose passion for oil painting began at the young age of 14. Primarily a self-taught artist, her style can be described as contemporary impressionism. She has attended top-tier art workshops and studied with other accomplished artists such as “Master Artist” David Shevlino and others. Geri works mainly in oils and uses a palette knife to create depth and texture. She embraces painting with the freedom to create, allowing her paintings to evolve intuitively.
Geri is represented by Huff Harrington Fine Art in Atlanta, GA, and Granville in Charlotte, NC. Her work has been featured in various designer show houses, including “The Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Southeastern Designer Show House” and “The Cashier’s Show House.”
Currently, Geri works and teaches workshops out of her home studio. She is a longtime member of Oil Painters of America and the American Women Artist.
