Huntsville, Ala. – International interior designer, Nina Campbell, will speak at the Huntsville Museum of Art (HMA) on Thursday, April 11 during a Voices of Our Times luncheon. Limited seating remains.
One of the foremost interior designers of today, Nina Campbell’s almost fifty-year career exemplifies the best of English interior design, and showcases pared-down traditionalism, sumptuous textiles, clear color, and, above all, comfort.
Nina Campbell is Britain’s most respected interior designer whose career spans almost five decades. Her clients include the Duke and Duchess of York, the Queen of Denmark, Rod Stewart, Ringo Starr, and Mark Birley, owner of the legendary private club Annabel’s. Campbell – who continues to be a force in the decorating field in England, and throughout the world – has recently opened her second London showroom.
Voices of Our Times is an annual speaker series that brings people of note in the arts, academia, design, publishing, politics, sports and more to the Huntsville Museum of Art for candid, in-depth discussions and presentations. Museum Executive Director Christopher J. Madkour established the Voices series a few months after his arrival in 2011 and it has since become a signature program at HMA with noted speakers including: Gloria Vanderbilt, Ali MacGraw, David Sanger, Carl Bernstein, Paul Finebaum, and Ambassador Andrew Young, Jr. to name a few.
The upcoming presentation will be held during a seated luncheon in Loretta Spencer Hall at the Museum and will be catered by Chef Narvell. Guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail, a delicious lunch, and an intriguing presentation, followed by a book signing of her latest book Nina Campbell Interior Decoration: Elegance and Ease, © Rizzoli New York, 2018 written by Giles Kime. Barnes & Noble will have the book available for purchase at the event. For more information about the Voices of Our Times series and to purchase tickets, visit hsvmuseum.org or call 256-535-4350.
