Enjoy a last look at Jack Mitchell: Artists.This exhibition features approximately 50 silver gelatin and color photographs of important American visual, musical, and literary artists taken by Jack Mitchell over a career spanning five decades. Mitchell died in 2013 at age 88. Exhibition highlights include director-screenwriter Alfred Hitchcock, singer-songwriter Carly Simon, playwright Tennessee Williams, composer Philip Glass, singer Bette Midler, and artists Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Louise Nevelson and Keith Haring, among others. The works were hand-selected by the Museum from the Jack Mitchell Archives. Organized by HMA.
