Students will be painting from still life subjects, with a focus on applying medium and developing personal artistic skills. While there will be some short demonstrations, the emphasis will be on hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves-and-get-to-it painting time. This will be a great time for artists who are new to oils to “get their feet wet” in a positive environment. For those who are already working in oils, the class will enhance skill levels. Critiques will be positive and fun. There will be plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor. Let’s explore a toolbox of ideas and techniques and get our creative juices flowing! Space is limited to 8 students.
