View the Museum’s newest exhibition, Looking at the Collection: Works on Paper.
One of the Museum’s best kept secrets is its collection of works on paper, which includes well over 1,000 prints and drawings. This diverse holding includes 19th century Japanese woodblock prints, early 20th century American and European prints, and modern and contemporary paintings and drawings in graphite, watercolor, ink and mixed media. The Museum’s holdings continue to expand in this category through generous gifts and significant purchases, notably in the areas of contemporary prints and drawings. Organized by HMA.
