Huntsville Museum of Art’s 33rd Annual Gala
the Event of the Year

 

Huntsville, Ala. –  The Huntsville Museum of Art and the Museum’s Gala Committee will be hosting the 33rd Annual Gala on Tuesday, February 27th – March 2nd, 2024. The Gala will consist of three events and will benefit Museum programming throughout the year.

The Gala 2024 display of art is on view through February 29. Museum visitors are encouraged to peruse the Gala art in the galleries, purchase the piece they like, and pick it up later. Buy Now Take Later opens Monday, February 5th at noon and closes on Friday, March 1st at 10 am. Melissa Gimenez is one of the 33rd Annual Gala co-chairs said, “This year’s Gala features Atlanta-based artist Geri Eubanks with her superb collection of oil paintings described as contemporary impressionism. The community has supported the museum with both the Gala Luncheon and the Live Auction Dinner already being sold out. These events are always popular. This year’s luncheon features film and design author Cathy Whitlock who is traveling from Nashville, Tennessee to discuss her book “Designs on Film: A Century of Hollywood Art Design, and a delicious meal provided by Purveyor restaurant.”

Gimenez said “The 2024 Huntsville Museum of Art Gala is truly the event of the year! You can mingle, dine, and dance to live music in the beautiful setting of the museum galleries surrounded by fabulous art, trips, and experiences available for purchase!”

The Gala will conclude with the Gala Cocktail Party and Silent Auction on March 2.

Tickets for the Gala Cocktail Party are still available with hors d’oeuvres provided by Chef Narvell and live music by The Flashbacks.
