Classic Children’s Books
Some of the artists featured in Sweetness and Light were also the authors and illustrators of iconic children’s books! For example, Ludwig Bemelmans, whose work In the Autumn Wind He Boasted is on display in the galleries, is best known for the Madeline books. Pick one up to commemorate your visit!

This comic illustration set is ideal for aspiring illustrators. This set includes a step-by-step instructions booklet, three pens six colored pencils, graphite pencils, a pencil sharpener, a mechanical pencil, and a dust-free eraser. It has everything you need to begin your comic journey!
The Museum Store also carries art supplies for all ages. For teens and adults, find high-quality pastels, charcoal, graphite, watercolors, sketch pads, and colored pencils. These supplies are also perfect for those taking classes at the Museum Academy. For children aged 6 and up, find gel pens, watercolors, both metallic and regular markers, and sketch pads.
