“The 1901 Alabama Constitution: Questions of Race, Gender, and Economic Status” will be a FREE lecture by Julian Butler, Chairman of the Alabama 200 – Huntsville/Madison County
You can attend this lecture at no cost. Just come into the Museum and up the stairs. However, if you’d like to view the “We the People” exhibit, you will have to purchase admission to the Museum.
🌟FUN FACT: The date is significant because August 2, 1819 is when the constitutional convention delegates signed the constitution right here in Huntsville, 200 years to the very day!
